Boots Size Guide

Size Chart: Cowboy Boots (US to EU)

Since cowboy boots are almost exclusively manufactured according to US standards, it is safest to base your size on the US sizing.

Important Fitting Tips

  1. The Instep: This is the most important point. The boot should fit snugly over your instep ("like a firm handshake"). The instep, not laces, holds your foot in place.
  2. The Heel Slip: It is completely normal – and actually necessary – for your heel to slip a little (approx. 0.5–1 cm) when the boots are new. As the sole softens and begins to flex, the heel slip will stop.
  3. The Toes: Cowboy boots sometimes have a pointed or narrow toe. Make sure there is plenty of room at the front; your toes should never be cramped in the tip itself.

Width Gradations

The USA uses letters to indicate width.

  • Women: B is standard, C is wide.
  • Men: D/E is standard, EE or EW is extra wide.
